Hospital / Lab / Provider means an independent third-party hospital, clinic, laboratory, doctor, medical professional, or healthcare provider whose services may be listed, displayed, scheduled, or otherwise facilitated through the Service.

You means the individual accessing or using the Service, or the person on whose behalf such individual is accessing or using the Service, as applicable.

  • referring URLs;

Information Collected while Using the Application

While using Our Application, in order to provide features of Our Application, We may collect, with Your prior permission where required:

  • pictures and other information from Your Device’s camera and photo library;
  • files and documents selected by You for upload;
  • location information, including approximate or precise location, depending on Your permissions and device settings;
  • notification token/device token for push notifications;
  • contact details that You voluntarily submit in forms or inquiries.

We use this information to provide features of Our Service, facilitate appointments, enable uploads, process reminders, improve and customise the Service, and support healthcare coordination features. The information may be uploaded to the Company’s servers and/or a Service Provider’s servers, or may be stored on Your device depending on the functionality involved.

You can enable or disable access to these permissions at any time through Your Device settings, although some features may not function properly if permissions are denied.

Nature of the Service

The Easy Care User App is a technology platform that helps users discover hospitals, doctors, clinics, labs, and related healthcare services; book and manage appointments; receive reminders; upload or view reports; use certain informational tools; and access related healthcare facilitation features.

The Easy Care is not a hospital, clinic, doctor, lab, pharmacy, ambulance provider, or emergency medical service provider. The medical, clinical, diagnostic, consultation, prescription, treatment, and laboratory services available through or in connection with the platform are provided by independent third-party providers and not by The Easy Care.

The App, hospital, lab, and doctor are separate and independent parties. The Easy Care is not responsible for clinical decisions, treatment outcomes, lab accuracy, medical negligence, or provider-side service issues, except to the extent required under applicable law.

Use of Your Personal Data

The Company may use Personal Data for the following purposes:

  • To provide and maintain our Service, including to operate the platform, manage user access, monitor usage, and secure the Service.
  • To manage Your Account, including registration, login, OTP verification, profile management, and enabling access to Service features.
  • To facilitate appointments and healthcare workflows, including appointment booking, confirmation, rescheduling, cancellation, provider coordination, reminder scheduling, and inquiry handling.
  • To enable report, prescription, and record-related features, including upload, access, display, storage, retrieval, and sharing with relevant providers or authorised staff.
  • To contact You, including by phone, SMS, WhatsApp, email, in-app notification, or other equivalent electronic communication.
  • To provide AI-assisted or informational features, including symptom-based support, general health information, wellness assistance, BMI-related features, and provider discovery.
  • To provide customer support, resolve complaints, investigate issues, and respond to requests.
  • To process payments and transaction-related workflows, where applicable.
  • To improve our Service, including analytics, optimisation, monitoring, security enhancement, bug fixing, and user experience improvement.
  • To detect, prevent, and investigate fraud, abuse, misuse, technical issues, security incidents, or unlawful activity.
  • To comply with legal obligations, law enforcement requests, court orders, regulatory requirements, or dispute resolution needs.
  • For business transfers such as merger, restructuring, financing, reorganisation, dissolution, or sale of business assets.

AI and Informational Features

The Service may offer AI-assisted or automated informational tools, symptom input features, wellness guidance, BMI-related suggestions, and provider discovery support.

Information submitted through such features may be processed to generate responses and improve the functionality of those tools. However, such features are intended only for general informational and convenience purposes and are not a substitute for diagnosis, treatment, prescription, or emergency medical care.

Sharing of Your Personal Data

With Hospitals, Labs, Doctors, Clinics, and Authorised Staff

We may share Your information with the hospital, lab, clinic, doctor, receptionist, or authorised provider staff selected by You or reasonably connected to the service You request.

  • OTP delivery

This may include service providers such as Supabase for backend and authentication-related infrastructure and MSG91 for OTP delivery and messaging-related services, based on our active deployment setup.

We may share limited information with business partners, hospitals, healthcare providers, insurance-related partners, or service partners where necessary to respond to Your inquiry or provide a feature requested by You.

Payments

If payment-related features are enabled in the Service, payment information may be processed by Us, by the relevant healthcare provider, or by third-party payment processors, depending on the transaction flow.

We may receive limited payment-related data such as transaction reference numbers, payment status, billing details, and related records necessary for booking confirmation, reconciliation, support, fraud prevention, compliance, and dispute handling. We do not state that We store full card or banking credentials unless actually implemented by Our payment partner flow.

Communications

By using the Service, You agree that We may send You communications relating to:

  • OTP verification;
  • appointment confirmations, updates, cancellations, and reminders;
  • support and grievance handling;
  • policy or legal notices;
  • service-related announcements;
  • security or fraud alerts;
  • billing or payment-related updates;
  • and other operational messages.

These communications may be sent by SMS, phone call, WhatsApp, email, push notification, or other electronic means, depending on the feature used by You and Your device permissions.

You may not be able to opt out of certain service-related or security-related communications that are necessary for operation of the Service.

Children’s Privacy

The Service is not intended for children to use independently without appropriate consent where required under applicable law.

If You are under the age of 18, You may use the Service only under the supervision, consent, and responsibility of a parent or lawful guardian.

Hospitals, labs, clinics, doctors, and their authorised staff who receive or access Your information through the Service are independent third parties and may maintain their own systems, records, and privacy practices.

Once Your information is shared with a selected provider for appointment booking, treatment coordination, reminders, report viewing, billing, prescription access, inquiry response, or related facilitation, that provider may process and retain such information according to its own policies, legal obligations, and professional record-keeping requirements.

The Easy Care is not responsible for the independent privacy or data handling practices of such providers, except to the extent required under applicable law.

International Transfers

Some of Our service providers, infrastructure providers, or technical systems may process or store data outside India. By using the Service and submitting information, You acknowledge that Your information may be transferred to and processed in jurisdictions other than Your own, subject to applicable law and reasonable safeguards.

Where appropriate, We take steps reasonably designed to ensure such transfers are handled securely and in a manner consistent with this Privacy Policy.
