6. AI-assisted and health-information features

6.1 Nature and limitations

The Service may provide AI-assisted symptom information, report explanations, wellness information, BMI or vitals information, question prompts, and suggestions about an appropriate type of healthcare professional or Provider. Outputs are generated from information supplied by You and may contain errors, omissions, or outdated information.

AI outputs are not medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, prescription, clinical decision-making, or emergency services. Do not use the Application as the sole basis to start, stop, or change medicines, treatment, testing, or healthcare decisions.

6.2 Consultation reminder

Always consult a qualified healthcare professional for medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment and confirmation of information generated by the Application. Do not delay or disregard professional care because of an AI-assisted response.

6.3 Information sent for AI processing

When You voluntarily request an AI-assisted feature, information necessary to provide it may be transmitted to an authorised external AI or cloud-processing Service Provider. This may include symptoms, age, gender, user-entered context, voice transcripts, selected report text, or a medical report selected by You.

Depending on the active configuration, Service Providers may include OpenAI or another authorised AI provider. Information is used to generate the requested response, maintain security, troubleshoot failures, and comply with legal obligations. Provider processing and retention depend on the service, contract, configuration, and applicable law.

6.4 Acknowledgement and consent

Where required, the Application may request Your acknowledgement or consent before sending sensitive information or a selected medical report for AI processing. You may choose not to use the AI feature and consult a Provider directly.

6.5 Emergencies

Do not use the Application for an emergency. For severe symptoms, difficulty breathing, chest pain, loss of consciousness, heavy bleeding, signs of stroke, suicidal thoughts, or another urgent condition, contact local emergency services or visit the nearest emergency department immediately.

7. How We share or disclose information

We may share information with a Provider selected by You or reasonably connected to a service requested by You. This may include name, phone number, age, gender, appointment details, symptoms or reason for visit, selected files or reports, prescription information, reminders, inquiries, and payment or booking status necessary for appointment coordination, report or prescription access, lab booking, billing, payment, reconciliation, follow-up, and requested healthcare-service facilitation.

7.2 Service Providers

We may disclose limited information to Service Providers supporting backend, database, authentication, cloud storage, OTP delivery, communications, AI, speech-to-text, report processing, payments, notifications, diagnostics, security, maintenance, and customer support.

Depending on active deployment, these may include Supabase for backend, authentication, database, and storage; MSG91 for OTP and messaging; Razorpay for payment processing; and OpenAI or another authorised AI provider for user-requested AI-assisted processing.

7.3 Legal, safety, and fraud prevention

We may disclose information to comply with applicable law or lawful process; protect rights, property, safety, or security; prevent or investigate fraud, abuse, unlawful activity, or incidents; or establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.

7.4 Business transfers

Information may be transferred as part of a merger, restructuring, financing, acquisition, dissolution, or sale of assets, subject to applicable notice and safeguards.

7.5 With Your direction or consent

We may disclose information for another purpose when You direct Us or provide valid consent.

8. Payments and communications

8.1 Payments

Where enabled, transactions may be processed by the relevant Provider, the Company, or a payment processor such as Razorpay. We may receive transaction references, payment status, billing details, refund information, and related records for confirmation, reconciliation, support, fraud prevention, and disputes.

Payment-card, bank-account, UPI, or other credentials are processed according to the payment flow and processor terms. We do not claim to store full payment credentials unless the relevant feature and infrastructure actually require and support such storage.

8.2 Operational communications

We may contact You regarding OTP verification, Account security, appointments, reminders, reports, prescriptions, bookings, lab or payment status, support, grievances, policies, legal notices, security alerts, and other communications necessary to provide a requested feature. Messages may be sent by SMS, phone, WhatsApp, email, push notification, or in-app message.

9. Data retention, account deletion, and data deletion

9.1 Retention

We retain Personal Data only for as long as reasonably necessary to maintain Accounts, provide requested Services, support healthcare workflows, secure the platform, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and comply with legal, contractual, tax, accounting, audit, or regulatory obligations.

Retention periods differ by information type and purpose. Appointment records, reports, prescriptions, payment records, security logs, support communications, and Provider-side records may be retained for different periods. Independent Providers may retain records according to professional, legal, or regulatory obligations.

Backup or archived copies may remain for a limited period while systems are securely rotated, unless longer retention is required for law, security, fraud prevention, disputes, or another lawful purpose.

9.2 Requesting deletion

You may request deletion of Your Account and associated data at https://theeasycare.com/delete-account/ or by emailing support@theeasycare.com.

We may request reasonable information to verify identity and protect the Account before completing a request. We will respond and act within the period required by applicable law.

Deleting Your Account from The Easy Care may not automatically delete records independently held by a hospital, lab, clinic, doctor, payment processor, or other Provider. Contact the relevant Provider regarding records under its control.

10. Security of Your information

We use reasonable technical, organisational, and administrative safeguards designed to protect information from unauthorised access, disclosure, alteration, loss, misuse, and destruction. Measures may include authentication, access controls, limited personnel access, encryption in transit where supported, secure infrastructure, logging, monitoring, incident investigation, vendor controls, software maintenance, and vulnerability remediation.

No Internet transmission, mobile application, or electronic storage system is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for control of Your Device, SIM, OTPs, and Account access.

11. Your rights and choices

Subject to applicable law and verification, You may request to:

  • access information We hold about You;
  • correct or update inaccurate or incomplete information;
  • delete Your Account or Personal Data;
  • withdraw consent where processing is based on consent;
  • object to or request restriction of certain processing where available;
  • receive information about purposes and categories of recipients;
  • raise a privacy complaint or grievance.

You may update certain information in the Application, manage Device permissions, choose not to use optional AI or upload features, or contact Us. Withdrawal of consent does not affect processing already lawfully completed and may prevent a feature that requires the relevant information.

12. Children’s privacy

The Service is intended for adults aged 18 years and over and is not directed to children for independent use. We do not knowingly permit a child under 18 to create and operate an independent Account in a manner prohibited by applicable law.

If You believe a child has provided Personal Data without valid parent or guardian involvement or other lawful authority, contact Us. We will review the request and take appropriate action, subject to legal, security, verification, and retention obligations.

13. International processing and transfers

The Company and some Service Providers may process or store information in India or other countries whose data-protection rules may differ from those in Your location.

Where applicable, We use reasonable safeguards designed to protect information during international processing or transfer and require relevant Service Providers to process information according to applicable contractual and legal obligations.

14. Third-party Services, links, and independent Providers

The Service may contain links to or integrations with hospitals, clinics, laboratories, doctors, map services, payment pages, communication services, or other third-party websites and platforms that We do not operate.

Independent Providers may maintain separate systems, medical records, terms, and privacy practices. Once information is shared with a selected Provider for a requested service, that Provider may process and retain it according to its own legal and professional obligations.

Review the privacy policy and terms of each third party You use. The Easy Care is not responsible for independent third-party practices except to the extent required by applicable law.
